  1. PUCK International Festival of Puppet and Marionette Theaters has been structured, since its first editions, as a platform for promoting the contemporary art of puppet theatre and for bringing together performances that explore new theatrical techniques and ways of artistic expression. This year’s edition will gather about fifteen theatre companies from across Europe (Hungary, Poland, Russia, Croatia, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Czech Republic and The Netherlands), international festival managers and members of UNIMA.

The audience will enjoy a complex, varied program: an assembly of theatre performances, conferences, debates and book launches building up the six days of festival for everyone interested in puppetry, literature and creative workshops.

Along the years, PUCK International Festival of Puppet and Marionette Theaters has had about 400 performances, out of which 50 were international, 30 professional workshops, exhibitions and conferences, being always received with joy and interest by children, parents, artists and teachers.

  1. Reaching its second edition this year, WonderPuck Street Festival, organized in collaboration with ESUA – Entertainment and Stand-up Academy and Lions International, with the support of the Local Authorities, it is the only street festival addressed to children and families in Transylvania. The event offers a complex cultural and educational program designed to shape the aesthetic taste of its spectators. Ever since its first edition, WonderPuck Street Festival has had an immense success, bringing together 300 artists in more than 30 performances, workshops and exhibitions for more than 17.000 spectators to enjoy.

This year’s edition will have three main sections:

WonderPuck is about the kid living inside us and, more than that, it is about us being together.
